Запеканка от грах с Кефалотири


  • For 2 servings
  • 600 g peas canned or pre-cooked fresh peas
  • 120 g Tomato sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 50 g peeled onions
  • 1 tbsp mint dry mint dry
  • 80 g kefalotiri cheese or other low-fat cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil olive oil
  • salt and pepper

The first step in the preparation of peas with Kefalotiri is to heat the olive oil in a skillet and saute the chopped onion and garlic.

Add 1/3 of peas and a few tablespoons of water, mint and tomato sauce and let simmer for 15 minutes. Pureed and mix with other peas. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to a baking dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

Bake in preheated oven, 200 C, until the cheese is golden color.
